George Edward Perevuznik, (94), of The Woodlands, TX passed away peacefully on June 9, 2023. He was born in East Chicago, Indiana in 1929 and lived in Beaumont, Tx, Tomball, Tx and The Woodlands, Tx until his death. George spent over 35 years in operations and logistics for Mobil Oil. He was extremely dedicated to his church St. Cyril of Jerusalem Orthodox Church. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was passionate about traveling to remote countries and had the opportunity to cruise around the world twice and embark on countless bus tours within the United States. His hobbies included solving complex Cryptograph puzzles and art.

George is preceded in death by: Parents: Charles & Ann Perevuznik; Siblings: Mary Anderson, John Perry, Marge Palkovich, Ray Perry and Bill Perry. He is survived by his Cousin: Suzie Myers; Nephew: John and Kathy Perry; Great-Nephews & Nieces: Tami Wisniewski and husband Larry, Jamie Pusateri and husband Andy, and Ryan Perry and wife Marilyn; and many great, great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors Monday, June 12th, 2023, from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at St Cyril of Jerusalem Orthodox Church, 9000 SH -242 E The Woodlands, Texas 77385.  The Trisagion Prayer will be recited at 7:00 pm.  Funeral Liturgy will be held, Tuesday, June 13th, 2023 at 11:00 am at St Cyril Orthodox Church, with Fr. Benedict Crawford presiding.  Interment to follow at 1:30 pm in Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038.
