Mr. George W. Linkhart, Jr., 91, of Katy, Texas, was born on August 11, 1928, and passed away at home on Tuesday May 19, 2020. George faithfully served in the United States Navy for 2 years during WWII, and was a retired photo engraver.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George Linkhart, Sr. and Josephine Linkhart; his sons, Charlie, Johnny, and Steve; brother, Johnny Linkhart; and nephew, Carl Williams.

George is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Betty Linkhart; his children, Judy Coe, and Dean Linkhart and wife Ruthie; siblings, Joann Williams and husband Clarence, and Anthony Linkhart and wife Anna Marie; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

George's family would like to thank Blue Star Hospice for taking such good care of their husband and father.  Thank you to his nurses, Robert, Shannon, and Monica, and to his CNAs, Hope, Jennifer, and Richard.
