George T. Kurian, affectionately known as 'Georgekutty', passed away peacefully on April 5, 2024, at the age of 77.

He was born on April 1, 1947 in Kottayam, Kerala India to Thekketalakal Varkey Kurian and Sosamma Kurian and was their eldest son.

Georgekutty is survived by his son, Steeve Kurian, his wife Renjitha, their children Ethan and Sofia, and the family dog Nico; and by his younger brother, Mathew Kurian.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Aleyamma Kurian (October 22, 2021).

Georgekutty worked as a Safety Engineer at Texas Steel Conversion for over thirty years.
He was often found tending to his garden or diving into old tv shows and movies, especially 'I Love Lucy' and 'James Bond'.

He will be missed for his big grin, love for his grandchildren and finding joy in simple pleasures.
