Mr. George E. Jordan (Earl)  passed away on July 16, 2024 at HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress  Hospital in Cypress, Texas at the age of 73.

George was born on October 26, 1950 in New Bern, North Carolina to Robert and Elizabeth Jordan. He attended and graduated from Hopewell High School in 1969.  He married Deborah Barden in 1972, and from this union they had four children: Antoine, Tiana, Brandon, and Malik. In Pennsylvania, he began working as a lab technician at NOVA Chemical, stretching over a 30-year career. In 2006, George and his family relocated to Cypress, Texas where he worked at Lowe's for over a decade. Outside of work, one of his favorite pastimes was playing pool with his friends, although he enjoyed bowling, assembling trains, solving puzzles, and watching the History Channel as well. His children remember him as a loving father who worked hard to provide for them.

George was known to be both outgoing and outspoken. He was a strong believer in telling it like it is, and though he might not always agree with you, he would make sure to treat you with respect. He was passionate about adoption, and wanting to help others, as he felt it gave meaning to his life.  His joy came from pouring into those around him, strengthening the existing bonds he had, while forming new ones through his generous and charismatic nature. To be in his presence was to be welcomed; he would readily strike up conversations with ease. With an inquisitive mind, he was a proponent of asking questions and learning how things worked, be it a new appliance, or toy to assemble for his grandchildren. He was a patient, loving, father and took pride in being part of every milestone in his children's lives.

George Jordan is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Jordan, his spouse, Deborah Barden Jordan and their four children: Antoine (Pamela), Tiana (Kacey), Brandon, and Malik; Grandchildren: Malcolm, Noah, Olivia, Savannah, Ashlynn, Teigan, Tobias, Miles,  and Bryce. Sister: Carolyn Fuller (Clyde - deceased), and a host of nieces and nephews. George  is preceded in death by his father, Robert Jordan.

George cherished his family and friends, was beloved by everyone who knew him, and will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
