George "Butch" Infantino, at the age of 71, was surrounded by his loved ones when he passed on March 27, 2023.

Butch was a wonderful husband, father, grand-father, son and brother who will never be forgotten. He was a decorated Vietnam Veteran who proudly served his country for three years. He was honorably discharged on December 12, 1973, from the Army Security Agency as a SP4.

He had such a passion for rescuing homeless dogs that he once transported a dog cross country and loved every minute of it. He saved and transported over 30 dogs from his local shelter. Over the years many other dogs and cats became a part of his own family.

Butch relocated with his wife Jenine to Texas from New York at the end of August 2021 to be close to his son Michael, daughter-in-law Kellee and grandkids, William, Walker and Savannah. He loved living in Texas and the lifestyle changes he made including going to the shooting range and feeding the nightly deer visitors.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Lung Association or to an animal rescue of their choice.
