George Edward "Ed" Goodwin's Obituary
George Edward "Ed" Goodwin passed away on January 21, 2017 at his home in Spring, TX at sixty six years old. He was born in Long Island, NY on May 19, 1950 to George and Marie Goodwin. Ed is survived by his wife, Georgette Goodwin, his sisters Katherine Courtney and Mary Goodwin, his three children Edward, Carolyn, and Tracie, and his grandchildren Sean, Nathan, Reid, Luca, Henry, and Maxwell.
Ed grew up in Springfield, MA and attended Fairfield University where he earned a degree in Finance. After graduating he married Georgette, and obtained an MBA from Memphis State before relocating for work to Spring, TX in 1983. Ed enjoyed travelling, playing golf, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family.
The memorial service will be held on January 26th, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Klein Funeral Home
, 16131 Champion Forest Drive. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations in Ed's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or The American Cancer Society.
