Genevie Przyborski, 92, of Hockley, Texas went to her eternal home on March 2, 2026, in Tomball, Texas. Genevie was born on July 26, 1933, to Joe and Helen Baranowski. She lived a life devoted to faith, family and community.

She met her husband, Wilfred, while working at Brenham City Café. They would have been married for 74 years this coming May. They left Brenham and moved to Houston, where Genevie worked at Foley's Downtown. As they moved further northwest of downtown, she worked at Fastener Nuts and Bolts Company, and later Gayla Kite Factory. She retired from Telxon Electronics as a supervisor and spent her retirement enjoying her family, shopping and yard work. She started a monthly neighborhood birthday lunch group. She was always known for her immaculate housekeeping.

Genevie was a loving wife for 73 years, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Her warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Anne Catholic Church for over 40 years and was often described as the best dressed lady in the church. Her and Wilfred volunteered in the parish St. Vincent de Paul Society. She was active in the Hospital Ministry and was the first regent of the parish chapter of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas in 1995. Her deep faith and dedication to service left a lasting impact on her church community.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Wilfred Przyborski; her daughter, Diana Reed and her husband Mike; her son, Carl Przyborski; her grandchildren, Jeff Reed and his wife Norma, and Jon Reed and his wife Carol Ann. She is further survived by her great grandchildren, Pete, Andy, Bella and Tristan and her great-great-grandson, Luca. Genevie's family was her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment with them.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anne Catholic Church on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 10:30 am with Fr. Tommy Hopper presiding. A Rosary will be prayed beginning at 9:45 am. Lunch will be served in the church hall immediately following the mass service. All are welcome and invited to gather to share memories and celebrate Genevie's life.

There are no words that can express how grateful and blessed the family is for neighbors and friends who have been so kind in the past few years.
