Geneva Poe Miller

Geneva was born December 20, 1937 in Crockett, Texas. She went to be with our Lord July 1, 2020. Geneva was 83 years old. She was a long-time resident of Houston and then retiring with her husband in Magnolia, Texas for many years.

Geneva was very loving and devoted wife to our dad for 47 years. She was also the best, caring, loving mother to her children.

Raised in christian home and gave her life to the Lord at an early age. As an adult, making her home church at Faith Assembly Of God and making sure the family was there every Sunday.

Geneva loved to sing, and sang in the choir for many years. She was young at heart and love to have fun. She also rode a motorcycle along side our dad for many years and traveled the United States.

Geneva is survived by her children Joy Buck & husband Kenny, Steve Mathews & wife Vicki, Dennis Mathews & wife Janet, daughter in law Elizabeth Ross, her brother Charles Poe and sister in law Kay; step daughter Vicki Gooding & husband Manuel, step son Steven Miller & wife Terry; (bonus child) Glenda Stubbelfield Dewbre; 16 grandchildren: Jason, Kyla, Jordan, Christina, Brooke, Anthony, Nicole, Kendall, Madison, Morgan, Christa, Elijah, Aaron, Anna, Travis, Ross; 21 Great grandchildren: Cailin, Daegan, Ronin, Phoenix, Kingston, Zaire, Ariana, Ian, Sydney, Lucy, Scarlett, Anna, Emily, Caleb, Navia, Nya, Brice, Landan, Max, Dominic, Alena.

Geneva was preceded in death by her husband Wallace Miller, her parent Louis and Effie Poe; 3 brothers: Louis, Billie Joe and Richard; her baby boy Gary Ross who passed away as an infant; and just five months, her youngest surviving son Glen Ross.
