Gayle "Sug" Harkrider Harris of Houston, Texas was born on September 2, 1932 and passed away on January 2, 2019.

She is preceded in death by her father, Ralph Henry Harkrider and her mother, Frances Marion Harkrider, as well as eight siblings.

Gayle is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Jerry Lee Harris, as well as her special niece, Vicki Marie Lake.

She is survived by her children, Terry Harris, Debbie Bentley and husband Mark, Cathy Kendall and husband, Craig; as well as her grandchildren, Kristopher Cook, Matthew Mann and wife Stephanie, Melissa Isas and husband Eddy, Megan Eustes and husband Wes, Marcus Bentley and Andrew Kendall; Great Grandchildren; Bailey Isas, Lawson Eustes and Riley Mann; and her Dear Sister, Joyce M. Lake.

Her family will receive friends and loved ones for a visitation from 9:00 – 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Klein Funeral Home, 9719 Wortham Blvd., Houston, Texas 77065. Funeral Service for Gayle to immediately follow at 10:00 a.m.   She will be laid to rest in Houston National Cemetery.
