Gary Lee Divin, 66, of Tomball, TX, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 17, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born to parents Julius "Sonny" and Anna Divin, on June 20, 1956, in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Cy Fair High School and then went on to attend electrical trade school where he excelled in his studies and career. Gary was extremely passionate and proud when it came to his work and projects. He had a successful career of 38 years with Boyer, Inc. as a project manager and estimator, retiring October 14, 2022. When he was not at work, you could always find him building or doing some type of project, there was always work to be done in his mind. Also, Gary and his wife Leslie were proud owners and operators of three sports bars, Leslie's Sports Bar, in the Greater Tomball Area.

Gary was known for his love of hunting, whether it was being in the woods hunting deer or in the dove field. His greatest passion was being at his deer lease in Junction, TX with son, Ryan and son-in-law, Steven. Being at the lease was his little slice of heaven. He mostly enjoyed spending time videoing and waiting for that "trophy buck" to show up.

He was a proud husband, father and grandfather who loved his family dearly. Gary had a newfound love for his beloved French Bull Dog, Gracie. We often teased that he loved her more than anything else.

Gary is survived by his loving wife, Leslie of 20 years; son, Ryan Divin and wife Jennifer; granddaughter, Avery Divin; stepdaughter, Lindsay Kasper and husband Steven; sister, Linda Rodgers and husband Jimmie; brother, Kenneth Divin and wife Jan; stepfather, CL "Pat" Willingham; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Gary is preceded in death by his mother, Anna Lee Willingham; father, Julius "Sonny" Divin; former wife, Vicki Bumpers.

Gary touched many lives that were fortunate enough to meet him. He was a natural born leader and one you could learn from. A man of many talents, he never stopped striving for greater things. Gary had that smile that lit up the room. He was a great friend to many and will be so deeply missed.

Gary will be honored in a memorial service on November 22, 2022, at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball with a celebration of life directly following at Leslie's Sports Bar # 1, Tomball.
