TSGT Garry A. Rolls was born on December 9, 1946, in Rolla, Missouri, and passed away September 19, 2016, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 69.

He retired from the Black Sheep Squadron as First Sergeant United States Air Force, Holloman AFB New Mexico. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam. Following his retirement from the Air Force, he joined Blue Marlin Maintenance & Services as Operations Manager where he was currently employed.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Irene Rolls; daughters, Donna Kopa and Tammy Schnitter and husband Eric; his son, Garry Allen Rolls II and wife Tonya; his sister, Joyce Nelson and husband Lynn; and brothers, Billy Williams and wife Angela and Bobby Williams and wife Kerri; and grandchildren, Christopher M. Kopa, Dawn E. Kopa, Ryan Kopa, Anthony A.P. Rolls, Jeanette N. Aponte, and Kaleanne Rolls; great-granddaughter, Izabella N. Diaz; and many additional extended family members.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 29, with visitation to being at 9 a.m., at Klein Funeral Home – CyFair Northwest, 9719 Wortham Boulevard, Houston, TX 77065. Interment with military honors will take place at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Houston National Cemetery, Houston.
