Garland Keith Winningham was born in South Bend, Indiana on May 29, 1966, and passed away in Houston, Texas on November 22, 2022.

Keith is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Lynn Winningham; his parents, Garland and Helen Winningham; his sister, Pamela Winningham Earwood; and nephew, Jonathan Fletcher and his Aunt Renee Sanders and many friends that love him.

Keith gave of himself to anyone that he felt needed his help or anyone that asked him for something. Keith loved working with his hands outside and spent his days tending to the church grounds, his own yard and many other yards in the neighborhood. Keith took great pride in everything he did and wanted to always make sure the job was done right and completely to his high standards.

Keith always gave of himself very unselfishly to help others. Keith touched so many lives in all the little things he would do for others that seemed like a simple task to him but meant the world to the people he did them for. Several people came to tell their touching stories of these simple yet very meaningful touching moments and how they felt so much joy and how that memory still holds in their hearts. From a key given to someone to a new baby gift he always made sure to give these were such joyous stories to hear from the ones that received them.

Keith was such a God fearing man who always put God before everything else and even when he couldn't make worship he still was there in heart as his illness would keep him home but he was always true to God. Serving others has been a big part of his life and he wanted to make sure in all he did that he took care of all his people that he felt needed him and he took pride in doing for others without others knowing about it. Keith took on the yard at the church years ago as that was a way he could give of himself to the Lord and great pride was in all he did. Keith spent many hours a week over many days making sure the yard was pristine from mowing to the rose bushes he recently replaced that are now blooming to show their fruits.

Keith was the neighborhood husband as he looked after anyone that needed something taken care of and did it out of the kindness of his heart. He never wanted someone to worry about asking for his help and always with gladness and total dedication to getting it done right. He would show them how to use something or fix anything so they didn't have to worry about it. I was thanked by so many people that he would take under his wing and they were so appreciative of his kindness.

Anyone that knows Keith knows he loved John Deere and his Dixie girl his two loves. His pride of loving John Deere since growing up on a farm in East Texas, being in FFA in Troup and in his love of everything John Deere in his lawn equipment and his license plate JNDEER he was the poster boy for his loyalty to Green and Yellow. His dog Dixie was a gift for his 50 ^th birthday and from the moment they met she's been daddy's girl to the end as she stayed by his bedside watching over him and protecting him. Troup FFA will receive all his tools as Keith said they need to learn like I did and I want them to have all the tools needed to start out in life right like they did for me, such a giving man.

Keith will be truly missed by everyone that ever got to meet him and know him and all of us that dearly love him. He has so many close friends we call family to anyone that just met him as he touched your life with his infectious smile. We love you Keith and we know you're no longer in pain and up in heaven smiling down at us and that gives our hearts some ease but we will always feel your love each day in our heart forever.
