Gail Lee Wales, 83, of Montgomery, TX passed away peacefully on June 26, 2026. She was born on July 8, 1942, in Henderson, Texas, to Robert Lee Hudson and Sara Elizabeth Powers.

Gail was raised in San Angelo, Texas, where she met the love of her life, Bobby Joe Wales, while he was serving in the United States Air Force at Goodfellow Air Force Base. Their meeting marked the beginning of a loving marriage built on devotion, faith, and family.

Gail dedicated much of her life to caring for others. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker whose greatest joy was helping raise her grandchildren. She also served her community through a 30-year career with the United States Postal Service, where she faithfully delivered mail and built lasting relationships with those she served.

Family was the center of Gail's life. She especially loved attending her grandchildren's football and baseball games, rarely missing an opportunity to cheer them on from the stands. She also enjoyed traveling whenever she had the chance and was a faithful member of the Baptist church.

Those who knew Gail will remember her as kind, generous, hardworking, and deeply devoted to her family and friends. Her gentle spirit, unwavering loyalty, and selfless love touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Gail is survived by her beloved husband, Bobby Joe Wales; her children, Rob, Kenneth, Kimberly, and Michael; her siblings, Ronnie, Donnie, and Kathy; and her 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren whose lives she helped shape with endless love and encouragement.

A funeral service celebrating Gail's life will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Klein Funeral Home & Memorial, 14711 FM 1488, Magnolia, Texas 77354.

Though Gail is no longer with us, her legacy of love, compassion, and dedication to her family will live on for generations. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her unwavering love of family, generous spirit, and the countless lives she touched through her kindness and selfless heart.
