G. L. "Jerry" Nettles was born August 26, 1941 in Olustee, Fla. He was a loving
husband to his wife of 57 years, Linda Causey Nettles.
Father to Teresa Nettles, Cheri Hazelwood(Don), Jerry Nettles(Sue), and Hope(Bryan) Batchman. Granddaddy to 11 grandchildren, Joshua and Halee Hazelwood. April, Jerry, and Brent Nettles. Ashley, Caleb, Andrew, Joel, Micah and Madison Batchman. Great Grandaddy to Henry Nettles and Cohen Hazelwood.
Jerry loved being in the midst of Pine trees which made him think of his childhood. Six mile, Texas was the place he loved to relax . He enjoyed quiet times overlooking Toledo Bend lake.
His happiest moments where when he was sitting around a dinner table with his wife, children and grandchildren.
G.L. Nettles Inc was formed in 1982. This was a great accomplishment for him and his
family. ?
