Frederich Neal Schwegmann was born in Weimar, Texas on November 14, 1955, and passed away in Seabrook, Texas on January 15, 2020.

He is preceded in death by his parents, W.F. (Bill) and Ruth Schwegmann.

Fred is survived by his brother, Bill Schwegmann; sister-in-law, Kathy Schwegmann; and nephew, Allan Schwegmann. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and numerous friends.

Fred graduated from Southwest Texas State University (now known as Texas State University) with a degree in math and computer science. He moved to Houston in 1979.

Fred's true passion in life was scuba diving. He was as much at home in the water as he was on land. He traveled extensively around the world diving. He taught scuba diving and led numerous dive trips as a dive master.

A memorial service for Fred was held at 2pm on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Klein Funeral Home, 9719 Wortham Blvd., Houston, TX 77065.
