Frank George Cox, known by his family as "Gran", peacefully passed away on August 3, 2017 at the age of 92.

Nothing was more important to Frank than family and he loved them all dearly, celebrating every holiday and special occasion with them. Anyone he crossed paths with felt special, as he took the time to get to know everyone he met. Frank always had a story to tell, whether it was about something that happened just last week, or over 80 years ago.

Born in New York and raised in Galveston, Frank graduated from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama and St. Mary's University School of Law. Frank enjoyed working for Schlumberger for nearly 30 years.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Helen, wife, Margaret and son, Frank. He is survived by son, Robert and wife, Kathleen, and daughter in law Jane, as well as 14 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

? Visitation will be held Sunday, August 6, 2017 from 6:00 – 9:00pm at Klein Funeral Home in Spring, Texas. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Monday, August 7, 2017 at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Community in Spring, Texas.  Graveside Services to follow in Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock.
