Francisco G. Gomez's Obituary
Francisco G. Gomez was in the Air force for 29 years as an Electronics-Communications Manager. He served in Korea, Thailand and Vietnam during his career with numerous meritorious service medals, including a Bronze Star. He and his family spent several years overseas in such far away locations as the middle East, Europe, and South America. He served his nation with pride and loved being an ambassador for the US, no matter where he was. After his retirement he decided to continue his families legacy as a rancher in his home town in South Texas with his wife and daughter. There he continued his education at Pan American University earning a degree in criminology along side his daughter. He loved his South Texas roots and is survived by his wife Nydia A. Gomez, daughters Terry Barnes, Dalisa Montemayor and son Mario Gomez.
