Pancho, as he was known to most, a patriarch, a teacher, and a mentor, died peacefully on October 21, 2022 at the age of 95.

Pancho grew up in Berkeley, California attending Berkeley High School and continued his education at the University of California, Berkeley. Pancho was active at an early age in helping with the family's Mexican candy and bakery business.

He had a keen interest in both the arts of music and painting. He loved all types of music from classical to jazz. One of his favorite activities was singing along with Mariachi bands. He was very involved at his church, Templo Getsemani in Berkeley. As the choir leader, he devoted a lot of his time singing hymnal music. He also painted the baptismal mural.

He had a long engineering career at Lockheed Martin that spanned responsibility from the Mountain View location in California to the Cape Canaveral location in Florida. He assisted in the development of the Apollo Spacecrafts and the Space Shuttle programs. He was also acknowledged by the Alameda County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for his achievements and mentoring contributions in the NASA programs.

Pancho is survived by his loving wife Lucy, his brothers David and Rudy, his sister Graciela, his son Mark, and his daughters Linda, Leticia, and Lisa, 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
