Frances K. Summerford joined her Heavenly Father on September 9, 2017. Fran was born in Sylvester, Georgia in 1934 where she grew up with her siblings Robert, Juanita, LaTrelle, and Michael.  In 1958, after being pursued relentlessy by him, Fran married Robert E Summerford, with whom she raised their five children. As a young woman, Fran worked as an accomplished accountant and kept the books for the family businesses. She enjoyed the sound of chimes in the wind ,the smell of  fresh coffee in the morning, a tart margarita and reading crime novels. Fran loved without limit or condition, especially when it came to her children.  People were drawn to Fran, falling in love with her tender smile and inviting nature instantly upon meeting her. She was an adoring grandmother and great-grandmother who cherished deep personal relationships with all of her grandbabies, whom she said took "after their brilliant grandmother." . Fran's absence will leave a gaping hole in the hearts of her loved ones, but her legacy will live on through all the people she touched.
