Frances Ranell Jordan, 83, of Houston, passed away on Friday, May 31st. She was born July 17th, 1940, in Cameron, Texas to the late Raymond and Frances Holloway. She is survived by her, son, Randy Jordan; daughter, Tracey Jordan; granddaughter, Christy Jones; great-granddaughters, Alana and Elyse Garcia. Including her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, David Guinn.

Beyond her family, Nell found joy and solace in her hobbies and interests. Gardening was not just a pastime for her, but a passion that bloomed alongside her vibrant personality. She found peace in the outdoors, nurturing her plants with the same care and tenderness she showed to those around her. Bowling brought out her competitive spirit, while her love for animals reflected her compassionate nature.

Nell's characteristics were a reflection of her inner beauty. She was known for her patience, outgoing nature, and selflessness. Her humor brought light to even the darkest days, and her courage inspired all who knew her. Nell's strong will and independence were matched only by her boundless generosity, making her a pillar of strength for her loved ones.

In a special message, Marianne Roth was acknowledged for being a rock to Nell's friends and family, a testament to the deep connections Nell formed throughout her life. Marianne held a special place in Nell's heart, providing comfort and support during times of need.

Frances R. "Nell" Jordan leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and resilience that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, June 11th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, Texas 77038.
