On February 2, 2020 Frances Marie Gomillion Phillips passed away with her beloved husband by her side.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ruella (Marie) Gomillion  and her 2 brothers; Samuel Thomas Bridges and Paul William Bridges.

Frances was born March 14, 1932 in Houston, TX.  It was in 1947 that she first met Jerry Morris Phillips at Studewood Park.  They married September 23, 1949 in Richmond, TX and started their 70 year journey together. She spent her life living and working in the Houston area until they retired to Magnolia, TX in 1988.

She leaves behind many great memories for her husband to cherish of all their travels and all the sports activities that they had the opportunity to attend with their children and grandchildren.   Frances was blessed with the opportunity to live close to all her grown children for many years and have a chance to develop a loving relationship with her grandchildren.

Frances is survived by her husband Jerry Morris Phillips Sr. of Tomball, TX.   She is also survived by her 4 sons and their wives; Jerry Jr and Georgiana of Garrison, TX, Larry Bruce and Donna of Garrison, TX, Terry and Melissa of Magnolia, TX , and Samuel and Pam of Tomball, TX and one daughter and her husband;  Pamela and Stephen Harper of Willis, TX. She also leaves 8 grandchildren; Jerry Phillips 3rd, Raymond Phillips, Stephen Phillips, Heather Phillips, Hunter Phillips, Taylor Ungar, Luke Phillips and Sammie Phillips, as well as 5 great grandchildren; Seth, Owen, Noah,

Raylan and Orion with one more great grandchild on the way that will be named Odin.

Frances was a member of Southwinds Baptist Church which she attended until her health made it difficult to leave her home.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday February 8, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Southwinds Baptist Church.  Following the service a meal will be served in the Fellowship Hall.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers that a donation be made in Frances honor to the youth camp fund at Southwinds Baptist Church.
