Frances Kennedy Gage, age 79, passed away on November 23, 2018 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in The Woodlands, TX.  Born in Midland, TX, Frances was the daughter of Calvin and Rosa Lee Kennedy.  She attended Texas Western University where she obtained her degree in History.  During college, she was also set up on a blind date with the love of her life and future husband Doug Gage.  Soon after she graduated, she began her career in education.  Frances was an educator at heart, and over the course of a 30-year career, made many lifelong friends, and touched countless lives.  Frances raised her family in Odessa, TX, and Spring, TX, where the family relocated and she eventually retired.

Frances' true love was her family.  She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Doug Gage, her son Baron Gage with daughter-in-law Laura Garza Gage, son Spencer Gage with daughter-in-law Amy Linden Gage, as well as her cherished grandchildren Clayton Gage, Emily Gage, Ryan Gage, Adel Gage, Trey Gage, and Elaina Gage.  She is also survived by brothers Jimmy Kennedy (with wife Betty), Johnny Kennedy (with wife Berndean), and Harvey Kennedy (with wife Sandy).

To celebrate the life of Frances, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 11 am, at Christ Church United Methodist Church, located at 6363 Research Forest Dr, The Woodlands, TX 77381, with a reception following the service.
