Floyd Oran Turner was born in Pleasant Grove, Lee County, Texas to the
late Mary Louise and Floyd Andrew Turner on October 18, 1925. He went
to be with the Lord on September 16, 2023 surrounded by his loving family
and his loyal dog Maple.
He is survived by his daughter Rena Rosser & Bob Wright, grandchildren
Sarah Rosser & Shawn Corey, Cara Wallace & Jermey Wallace, and Julia
Rosser, and great grandchildren Kyle, Kaitlyn, Parker, Caia, and Jayna.
Along with his Son-in-law Marvin Goad, best friend Donna Humphreys, and
numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Including his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, two wives,
Mary Julia and Diana, a daughter, Jana, and a granddaughter, Kimberley.
How full his heart must be to see them again.
Floyd was best known as Pawpaw to his immediate family and Buddy to his
family and friends. He was a proud WWII veteran and Mason. Floyd always
had a joke or two for anyone he spoke to.
There will be visitation Wednesday, 20 September 2023 from 5:00-8:00pm.
Followed by funeral proceedings Thursday, 21 September 2023 at 10:00am
with graveside services held immediately after at 11:30am. Visitation and
funeral service are being held at Klein Funeral Home-Tomball, 1400 West
Main, Tomball, Tx 77375. Graveside services are being held at Klein
Memorial Park and Mausoleum, Inc., 9714 FM 2920, Tomball, Tx 77375.
Pallbearers will be great grandsons Kyle and Parker Noski,
grandson-in-laws Jermey Wallace and Shawn Corey, and close friends
Loren Humphreys and Alec West. Honorary pallbearers are Bob Wright,
Marvin Goad, and Larry (Tommy) Newland.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Floyd's favorite charity,
Northwest Assistance Ministries of Houston
