Flo spent the majority of her life in the Houston area. She spent her career as a bank teller, retiring in 1989, after which she moved to Kingsland, Texas, with her husband, Jimmie. She spent her retirement years gardening both flowers and vegetables and also enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She loved to cook and would take meals to people who were sick or simply needed a little help. She showed her love for people through food and making sure you were more than full at all times!

She is survived by her children, Darlene Shelton and husband Larry, Janice Vinyard and husband Willie, Jim Sanders and wife Rhonda, Paul Rolan and wife Patty, Debbie Brunelle and husband Barry, and Cindy Wilhite and husband Mike; her grandchildren, Jana Kelpen and husband Mark, Paul Shelton, Frankie Vasquez and wife Melissa, Jessie Rolan and wife Mette, Melissa Morillo and husband Jason, Brandon Brunelle, Jennifer Vinyard, Nathan Rolan, Hannah Rolan, Amanda Wilhite and husband Brenton, Kelly Brunelle, and Travis Wilhite; her great-grandchildren, Amber, Jordan, Randy, Caleb, Eli, Avery, Nora, Jaxon, Beckett, Aya, Marlon, Aidan, Amelia, and Cullen; and her great-great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Emmi, and Noel.

A funeral service celebrating her life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 10, at Klein Funeral Home – CyFair Northwest, 9719 Wortham Boulevard, Houston, TX 77065, with visitation to begin at 1 p.m. A committal service will take place at 1 p.m. Sunday, September 11, at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park, 4219 Park Road 4 South, Burnet, TX 78611.
