Florence Zella Mae Hollingshead (nee' Parisian) went home to be with the Lord March 30, 2022. Flo was born July 25, 1984 in Houston, TX, and grew up as part of a loving family, which included her mother and father, two brothers and a sister. She was preceded in death by her oldest brother, Samuel Parisian, who died in infancy. As a child, she developed a love of animals that lasted throughout her lifetime. She had many pets, including cats, dogs, hamsters, rabbits, and even a horse named Bob. She loved music and was a huge supporter of the local music scene. She attended Klein Forest High School, but completed her education as a homeschooler. She had two daughters whom she loved and was forever proud of. She managed the difficult feat of completing nursing school at Lone Star College while raising a family, babysitting, and helping her neighbors. She went on to help scores of people as a psychiatric nurse. She was a good friend, a natural encourager, and a light to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by all whom she has left behind, including: Her daughters, Evelyn and Leah Hollingshead; her parents, Thomas and Carol Parisian; her brother Edward Parisian and his wife Erin; her brother David Parisian and his wife Pippa, as well as their children, Sydney and Elise; and her sister Linda Nguyen and her husband Phuong, and their children, Olive, James, and Carol; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, countless friends, and her trusty canine companion and best friend, Slum Dog Millionaire, AKA Millie. There was so much more to our beloved Flo than could be captured here in this small passage. We sincerely hope that you had the opportunity to know and love her as we did.
Please donate to Flo's memorial fund. The money will be used to help provide for the continuing needs of her two daughters.
