Filiberto "Felix" Sanchez Born September 23, 1956 in Mexico City, Mexico Passed away April 17, 2017 in Spring, Texas Age 60 Years.
Preceded in death by parents Ernesto P. Sanchez and Natalia P. Sanchez
Felix spent his life in the service of others. As a polio survivor he had a great appreciation and desire to help others his entire life, like those that helped him since he was two years old and was afflicted with polio.  He founded Texas Community Services, a non-profit organization that provided family counseling services with a focus on children and teenagers.  He said that at times his handicap was a blessing in counseling "tough" troubled teenagers as his positive outlook on life, accomplishments in the face of adversity, and perseverance encouraged them in facing their own problems.

In recent years his failing health prevented him from being as active in the social service field as he would have liked.  He was working on completing a master's degree program at U of H in Social Services.  He planned to do individual counseling which would allow him to adjust his workload to meet his increasingly health restrictions.  Felix's greatest love and soul mate is his wife Francis.  He said she is more than just my right-arm she is my whole body and soul.  Felix's love of family and friends and strength in spirit will forever be remembered.
