Faye Geraldine Bryan was called home by the Lord on October 21, 2017. It was her 89 th birthday.

"Gerry" was born in 1928 in Chaffee, Missouri the fourth child in a close-knit family of six siblings. Her father was a railroad conductor and her mother a busy homemaker. Her fondest memories of childhood were of constant love and laughter in their home. This spirit of joy continued among the six throughout their adult lives with constant contact and many reunions.

As the bride of a member of the US Air Force, among their residences she and husband Dee while stationed in London were neighbors and acquainted with famous Soviet spies whose activities were memorialized in a 1983 play. During their London years she enjoyed traveling and perusing many antique shops. The family moved to North Africa, Texas, and Maryland before her husband's US Air Force retirement to a farm in Hollywood, Arkansas. She likened this move to the TV show Green Acres.

After her husband retired from 20 years of Air Force service, she supported him while he pursued his degree at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.. Gerry worked in the local pharmacy in an era where the small town "drugstore" served as a department store to the community. She was known and loved for her smile and beauty all the while excelling as wife, mother and homemaker.

In the 80's Gerry moved to Texas to be near daughters Debbie and Bonnie and their families. She played an active and significant role in the lives of her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she was known by as "MawMaw" .

Gerry was predeceased by husband Palmer Dozier "Dee" Bryan; parents Roy Robert Grammer and Minnie Viola Tudor-Grammer. She is survived by daughters Deborah Faye Nabors, (Billy C. Nabors Sr.) and Bonnie Sue Squier, (James D. Squier); grandchildren Amanda Carol Hasley, Kevin Wayne Hasley, (Brandy Lea Hasley); Bryan Christopher Norman; James Wayland Squier (Jentry Munos-Squier); Christopher Douglas Squier; great grandchildren Kyle Norman; Mason, Oakley, Ava, Lacey and Emily Squier; Kendall and Austin Brown. Gerry was predeceased by sister Phyliss Thomas and brother Roy Robert Grammer Jr. and survived by sisters Mildred Daughtry, Donna Schmeid and brother William Joseph Grammer, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like for you to join us in celebrating the life and memory of Gerry Bryan at Klein Funeral Home, 9719 Wortham Blvd, Houston TX. The funeral will begin at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 27 th , 2017

Friends may visit the family between 6:00 and 8:00pm on Thursday, October 26 th at the Klein Funeral Home.
