Faustino Lara was born April 14, 1945 and was reunited with his parents, siblings and son on September 15, 2017. Tino was a proud and sometimes stubborn man – he liked things his way, and you always knew where you stood with him. He was a loyal son and brother, a hard worker, and a strict but loving; father – becoming a real softie with his daughters later in life.
Tino worked hard to provide for his family – in different fields including wine distribution and construction. Later in life he found his calling as a funeral director, where he met wife Jennifer. Tino had a soft spot for his children although he was tough on them and loved them deeply. He is preceded in death by his parents, son Michael, and siblings Johnny, Mike, Joe, Lucy and Frances. He is survived by his loving wife Jennifer, sister Esther, children Tino, JoJo, Anthony, Tickle, Shelley, Kandice, and Isabella, grandchildren Daniel, Alicia, Jaqui, Danielle, Bella, Melissa and Mary, and great grandchildren, Laila, Mila, Andre, Dominick, Jude, Kendrick & Callen.
Tino liked to watch John Wayne and war movies, he had a real sweet tooth and didn't like cheese until he was in his 60s. He couldn't sit still – often claimed "good stuff" on the side of the road, sketched ways to improve his home or tinkered in the yard. He had a serious demeanor upon first meeting him but also had a sense of humor and could be silly with family and friends. He was extremely loved, a little feared and will be greatly missed. For his family, he leaves behind a void in broken hearts with the pieces he took with him.
