In Loving Memory of Evelyn Boenisch Berg

Evelyn Augusta Boenisch Berg of Tomball, Texas, passed away peacefully at age 92 on October 29, 2024.

Evelyn was born to George and Theresia Popp Boenish on September 3, 1932, in Garwood, Texas and was raised on the family farm with her older siblings Elizabeth, Adele, Henry, Regina and Clarine. She graduated from Garwood High School and moved to Houston, where she met and wed her husband, Howard Berg, who preceded her in death. Evelyn is survived by her four children and spouses: Lloyd Berg (Nancy), Lamont Berg (Cyndee), Shawn Berg (Sonya), and Sheri Pouyer (Curt). She adored her seven grandchildren - Neils, Alex, Austin, Hunter, Jackson, Brandon, Zachary and Matthew - and three great-grandchildren - Gunnar, Audrey and Maverick.

Evelyn was known for her kindness, warmth and unwavering love for her family. She touched the lives of everyone she met with her generous spirit and gentle smile. Her memory will be treasured by all who knew her. She will be dearly missed and forever loved.

A viewing will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 W. Main Street, Tomball, TX 77375, including a 6 p.m. Rosary recital. The funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 22, 2024, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1111 S. Cherry St., Tomball, TX 77375 and be followed by a luncheon. Evelyn will be laid to rest in a private family ceremony next to her parents in Nada, Texas.
