Obituary

Eva Lee (Brown) Cook loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away
March 20th, at We Are Family in Houston, Tx. Eva 79, was born November 29th, 1942 in
Putnam, Ok where she grew up on a cotton farm. Her senior year she met George Cook in
Clinton, Ok, while dragging Main Street. They were married two weeks later; in 1959 they
moved to Amarillo, TX. Soon after, Kim and Jeff were born. For many years, they moved and
traveled all over the world as George flourished in his Oil and Gas career. Eva's passion was to
support George, raise the children, and provide and nourish for the family as they embarked on
their journey.
Eva survived by kids Kim and husband Kevin Arnold, Jeff and Wife Stephanie Cook,
Grandchildren Shane Cook, Bryana Barnes, Ellie Barnes-Cook, Kyle and his wife Amy Arnold,
Kameron Arnold, Great Grandchildren Colton Arnold, Caroline and Kyleigh Arnold, her Brother
Alvin Eugene and Ann brown, and Sister-In-Law Rita Gay Scott.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother cherished her family, loved arts n'
crafts, and dreamed of the day she could join her husband once more. Eva lived for her
grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was affectionately known as GG and Grandma. Eva
loved seeing their smiles whenever she had the chance to see them as well as hearing their laughs
when she'd sneak a sweet treat to them. She will be greatly missed.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents Alvin and Matti Brown, brother LD Brown, Sister
Connie McCoy, and her husband George Cook.
Funeral services will be held at Klein Funeral Home.

Services will be held Friday, March 25th, at 10:00 am
