Joann - lady, legend, Mom, Grandma, great Grandma. She redefined doing the right thing daily, for decades. She was as serious about keeping her word as she was anything in life. Married to police officer, Don Moffitt for 23 years, Joann survived him at 42 years old, he at 49 with 2 teenage boys. She didn't know where to turn when a close family friend, (Bill Tinsley) recommended that she replace the one old truck with a new one and make a go in the fuel business. With some hesitation, and perhaps more desperation, she said why not? After she found a banker which ended up as a mentor also Roy Hillegeist The rest is history. There have been several Moffitt companies in the past and several decades that survived purely on the teachings of Joann Moffitt. "Just do what you say you're going to do and all will be well". She has had a huge impact on all that knew her and those that worked with her over many decades. She was dedicated to her community, she volunteered her time and was even the bookkeeper for the volunteer fire department for many many years. It's fact certain that she reconciled to the penny! Her companies and herself were donors to the local FFA and many other causes in the Cypress area. The promise and commitment left behind is one to serve the community and provide a Moffitt company in the fuel business for many years to come.

JoAnn is survived by her sons; Donald L. Moffitt Jr and wife Laci, and Roy M. Moffitt and wife Patricia. Grandsons; Roy M. Moffitt Jr. and wife Leslie, Ryan M. Moffitt and wife Jordan, Rusty M. Moffitt and wife Michal, Donald L. Moffitt III and wife Kayla, and Tyler Moffitt. Great Granddaughters; Reese Moffitt, Lexie B. Moffitt, Macy M. Moffitt, Ryleigh M. Moffitt, Rhemy M. Moffitt, Ryder M. Moffitt,  and Reya M. Moffitt. And Great Grandsons; Maveric M. Moffitt, Reed McCoy Moffitt, Donald L. Moffitt, Rusty Michael Moffitt, and Jax James Moffitt.
