Clara Smith passed with peace and grace on April 3, 2017, with her family at her side. Clara was born to the late Samuel and Effie Johnson in Palestine, TX, on March 23, 1928. She was married January 31, 1948, and was predeceased by her loving husband Robert E. Smith in 2011.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children, Linda Blas and son-in-law Frank Blas of Montgomery, TX, and Byron Smith and daughter-in-law Tricia Smith of Magnolia, TX; grandchildren, Tiffany Wishart, Alegue Mcafee, Rev. Jason Smith, Robert Smith, and Sean Smith; great-grandchildren, Chance, Caitlin, Triston, Devin, Tatum, Kendall, Emberson, Scarlett, Felicity, Grayson, and Rosalind.

She leaves us rich in memories and will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her fellowship with others and when she made you her friend, it was for life.

Her greatest love was serving her Lord and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all that knew her.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 6, at Klein Funeral Home - Tomball, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX 77375. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 7, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 11, at Houston National Cemetery.
