Ernest Sanchez, 66, was born in Bryan, Texas on May 17, 1954, and passed away peacefully in Houston, Texas on April 25, 2021.

Ernest had a quiet and steadfast nature that loved above all being among family and friends.

He was hardheaded and stubborn but most of all he loved his family dearly and all his life did all he could to be of help to them.  In the past 4.5 years Ernest suffered with many illnesses.  He struggled bravely with colon cancer never giving up, but his body was tired.  He was with family and friends in his final hours who take comfort in knowing he is now at peace in God's hands.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernesto and Natalia Sanchez; his brothers, Filiberto "Felix" Sanchez and Rudolpho "Rudy" Sanchez.

Ernest is survived by his siblings, Joe Sanchez, Amparo Sanchez, and Mary Sanchez; nephews, Gregory Sanchez and Joseph Sanchez; niece, Angela Fox; and great-nieces Zoe Fox, Kylie Fox and Lilly Natalia Sanchez and great-nephew Zen Simpson; aunts, several cousins, and many friends who all loved him very much.
