Obituary

Ernesto Javier Gonzalez, commonly known as "Tito," age 35, of Houston, TX, went home to be with our Lord in heaven on June 4, 2023 after a year long valiant battle with lung cancer. He was surrounded by his beloved family throughout his battles until his last heartbeat.

Tito was born on December 29, 1987 to Ernesto and Maria Gonzalez in Chicago, Ill. He was a man with a strong faith in God, a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, cousin, nephew, uncle, and friend.

His family moved to Houston, TX in 1997 when he was just 9 years old. In 2006 he met Liliana Torres whom he later married and had 3 children with.

Tito was without a doubt a family man and had a compassionate heart towards others. He was a devoted husband to his wife Lily and loving father to their 3 children. He absolutely loved his family, but loved his 3 children the most. Tito took excellent care of his family and provided with everything they needed. He enjoyed taking his family out to fun places such as the zoo, recreational parks, and restaurants. His children were his pride and joy. Since childhood he was a very warm loving and caring son towards his sweet mother Maria. He always made sure to protect and lookout after her all the way until the Lord called him to go home. He helped everyone that asked him for help in any way he could. He truly had a heart of gold and was very well liked by everyone that met him.
