Eric passed peacefully away at his home surrounded by his family on March 1st. Despite recent challenges with his health, he persevered until the end and will always be a hero to his family.

He was predeceased by his parents Percy and Minnie and son Eric Jr. Leaving to mourn and carry on his legacy are his best friend and beloved wife of 45 years Sharon, son Blake, daughter-in-law Julia, and precious grandchildren James and Nora.

Eric was born in New Braunfels, Texas, he grew up in Converse and graduated summa cum laude from St. Mary's University in San Antonio. Upon graduation he moved to Houston beginning his accounting career with Arthur Andersen, later with Commonwealth Savings Association then onto Mischer Investments where he became Executive Vice President of Finance.

Eric was caring and modest with a dry sense of humor. He enjoyed the camaraderie of friends in the Texas Triumph Register car club where he shared his love of classic sports cars. He also enjoyed spending time at the lake with family and friends.

Eric will be remembered lovingly in the hearts and minds by his family and dear friends who were like family to him. A Memorial service will be held at a later date with family and friends.
