Emily Gilliam's Obituary
Emily Winone Gilliam was born February 15, 1941 in Conroe, Texas to Gussie and Alvin Alexander. She graduated from Spring Branch High School. She spent a majority of her working years as a customer service supervisor at Houston Lighting & Power until her retirement in 1994. She was an avid quilter and gardener. She loved spending time at the deer lease with her family. Due to her declining health and her desire to be closer to her grandchildren, she moved to Fort Worth, Texas in 2014. She was a very independent and outgoing individual that lived every day to its' fullest. Her kindness to others and love for the Lord will live in for many years in those that were closest to her.
