Elvira Jara was born in Bogota, Colombia on February 15th 1922. She lived 100 years full of love and happiness. She married Alfonso Jara on December 18th 1943. Their marriage of over 55 years full of respect and mutual love. They had 4 children together Sofia, Alfonso, Cristina and Carlos. Elvira was a dedicated woman to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She joins her loving husband Alfonso, daughter Sofia and daughter Cristina in the glory of the lord's kingdom. She is survived by her son Alfonso and his wife Yolanda Jara as well as her son Carlos and his wife Mirta Jara, as well as her grandchildren of Daniel, Erika, Patricia, Alejandro, Cristina, Hernando Jr., Adriana, Marcela, Sandra, Catherine and Susana

Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Klein Funeral Home, 16131 Champion Forest Dr., Spring, TX 77379.  A funeral mass for Elvira will be held at 10:30am on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 19222 TX-249, Houston, TX 77070, to be immediately followed by committal in Klein Memorial Park in Pinehurst, TX.
