Elvira Alvear Horn, 74, of Cushing, TX went to be with the Lord January 11th 2024. She was born on August 8th, 1949, in Kenedy, TX to the late Celso and Eloisa Alvear.

She is survived by her husband Randall G Horn, her siblings Mary Ann Salazar, Soilo Alvear, Alicia Palacios, Luis Alvear, Lydia Cruz, Susanna Alvear.  Her children Joe Canales, Andrew Canales, and Belinda Canales.  Her daughter-in-law Cristina Canales.  Her grandchildren Adelina Marie Velez, Daniel Canales, and Victor Canales.  Her great-grandchild Marina Alice Bryant

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Canales and her siblings Trine Collins, Lorenzo Alvear, Eloise Garcia, Celso Alvear, Miguel Alvear, George Alvear, Maria Louisa Garza, Maria Elena Alvear, Alberto Alvear, David Alvear, and Diana Alvear

Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 12, 2024 at 10:00 AM CST at Klein Funeral Home on 1400 W Main St.  Tomball, TX 77375 with Pastor Terry Teykl officiating.
