Beloved wife, sister, aunt, Godmother, friend, and cousin, Betsi Smith  Willcox (Elizabeth) passed away Saturday, August 24th.  Betsi was born in St. Louis, Mo. on April 12,1945.  She was raised near St Louis, but  moved to Memphis, Tn. and graduated from Overton High School and Sienna College with honors.  She married Jeff Willcox and moved to the Houston area in 1971, where she continued her career in teaching.

Known as the family "fashionista", her looks and design sense were admired by many.  For especially the Willcox clan, she was considered a premier fashion consultant, and the dancing queen choreographer for all family weddings, no matter the geographic location.  Her ability to make friends reflected her kind, fun-loving, generous spirit.  She loved cats and was always ready to feed and care for one.  She was an avid supporter of St Jude's Children Research Hospital in Memphis. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Hospital.
