Elizabeth Ellis Tatro, aged 83, of Waller, Texas, passed away on January 7, 2026. Born on January 28, 1942, in Tyler, Texas, Elizabeth lived a life full of love and family.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Melissa Tatro Hammontree and her husband Alan; her step-son, Stephen Tatro; and her step-daughter, Connie Borzykowski and her husband Chance. Elizabeth was a proud grandmother to Donald W. Rhoads, Scott A. Rhoads and his wife Marisa, Richard E. Tatro III and his wife Julie, Tyler D. Tatro, Richard Allen Tyler and his wife Jeanne, Emily Rhoads, Kash Rhoads, Rowdy Rhoads, Matthew Rhoads, Mia Rhoads, Richard E. Tatro IV, Rylan Tatro, Eli Tatro, Isabella Tatro, Temperance Tatro, Lucky Drew Tatro, Dylan Brown and his wife Marissa, and Tanya Jo McKinney and her husband Anthony. She is also survived by her sisters, Charlotte Benthol and her husband Buddy, and Glenda Ponzi, as well as her brothers, Andy Ellis and his wife Angie, and Tracey Shephard and his wife Terry.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard E. Tatro, her son Richard E. Tatro II, and her parents, Willie Edward Ellis and Nancy Lorene Thompson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Klein Funeral Home – Magnolia Chapel, located at 14711 FM 1488, Magnolia, TX 77354, with Pastor Shawn Chandler officiating. Elizabeth will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
