Elizabeth R. Podraza passed away on November 13, 2016 at the age of 96.  Elizabeth was born in Garwood, Texas on June 9, 1920.  Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, George and Theresia Popp Boenisch, of Garwood, Texas; husband, Bill Podraza; and son, Bernard Podraza.  Elizabeth is survived by her loving daughters, Betty R. Dorcz (husband Jerry), and Linda L. Hovey (husband Richard); grandchildren, Ryan and Kyle Hovey; sisters, Adele Migl, Regina Heinrich, Clarine Naskrent, and Evelyn Berg; sister-in-law, Ann Boenisch; and numerous nieces and nephews . Elizabeth was a member of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Houston, and a former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Houston for 55 years.  Elizabeth celebrated 75 years of membership with Hermann Sons Life.  A special thanks to Beth Barber; the staff at The Heritage, Homewatch CareGivers, Tomball Regional Hospital and Tomball Nursing Center for caring for our mother.
