Born November 20, 1935 in Jaro, Iloilo, Philippines. Passed away at the age of 82 on January 11, 2018 at 0759 in Cypress, TX.

Elizabeth Parcon Fortune was born on November 20, 1935 in Jaro, Iloilo, Philippines. She went to school at Nazarene Bible College, Baguio, Philippines from which she graduated with a Bachelors degree in Theology, She furthered her studies at Union Theological Seminary and earned a Masters degree in Religious Music. She met Vincent G. Fortune Jr at LNBC and later married him there on March 7, 1959. They had 5 children: Vincent Don, Elvin John, Pearl Joyce, Donna Faye and Carol Lynn.

Elizabeth loved to sing to her Savior. She was a member of the choir at FEBC and loved to share her faith in God to whomever she meets, giving out tracks and sharing her testimony. She loved to pray for everyone and always willing to help in anyway capacity she can. Her love for the Lord trickled to her children and down to her grandkids and to everyone around her. With that love the Children For Jesus Ministry (TCJM) was born. This ministry gave her more children for Jesus and enormous joy in her earthly journey until Jesus called her home. Mommy's life has blessed many people beyond what she will ever realize.

Mommy has fought a good fight, she finished her race very strong and she has inspired many souls to look at Jesus Christ for their lives. We say hallelujah! To God be all the glory for al the great things He has done in Mommy's life.
