Elizabeth Harrub Epps, age 87 of Spring, Texas passed away July 9, 2024. The visitation will be July 17, from (5 PM to 6 PM) at the Klein Funeral Home in 1400 West Main Street, Tomball, Texas. Funeral Services will be Thursday July 18, 2024, at the Klein United Methodist Church at 5920 FM 2920 in Spring, Texas at 11:00 AM. Interment will be following the service at Klein Memorial Park 9714 FM 2920, Tomball, Texas. Arrangements are by Klein Funeral Home.

Elizabeth was born in Nashville, Tennessee to Calvin Nelson Harrub and Martha Page Morgan on December 29, 1937. She attended Eakin Elementary School, Carvert Jr. High and West End High School in Nashville, Tennessee. She completed her degree in Elementary Education from George Peabody College for Teachers.

Elizabeth married William (Bill) Bunyon Epps Jr. on March 21, 1959, in Nashville, Tennessee. She and Bill met in the front yard of a neighbor's house when they were in Junior High School. They were married and moved to Atlanta, Georgia to begin their family and soon had 4 boys. Her and Bill made the move to Texas over the Christmas break in 1971-72 taking the boys on a new adventure. She was able to begin her career as a 2nd grade teacher at Northampton Elementary in the Klein School District and influenced several hundred youngsters over her long career. She and her husband were founding members of the Klein United Methodist Church.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents Nelson and Martha Harrub and her son Michael Allen Epps.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband William and her sons David Charles Epps, Scott Cater Epps and Christopher Nelson Epps. Her brothers Calvin Nelson Harrub and Brown Morgan Harrub. Her grandchildren Jessica Lee Epps and Jacob Thomas Epps.
