Elizabeth Froehner Buffum, 82 of Houston passed away March 29, 2021.  She was born February 11, 1939 in Cuero, Texas to the late Erwin and Amy Froehner.  Elizabeth and John were married 58 years. She was a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas. Her hobbies included genealogy, gardening and cooking. She loved flowers and plants and would spend hours in her yard tending to them. She also loved hummingbirds and would spend each morning watching them feed by the kitchen window. She also loved holidays and would over decorate the house for each season. Christmas and Easter were her favorites.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband John Edward Buffum; daughter, Cindy Buffum Hammel and husabnd Tadd Shane Hammel; son, John Edward Buffum, Jr. and wife Amy Hungerford Buffum; granddaughter, Jordyn Taylor Hammel; grandsons, Max Hungerford Buffum and Jack Hungerford Buffum; brother, Bill Froehner and wife Pam.
