In retirement, they enjoyed travel, activities with the Exxon-Mobil Retiree Club of Northwoods, and their grandsons. They were married for 62 years until Jack's death in 2012.

She is survived by her children, Mary Ellen Deeves, Patricia Deeves and husband Sheldon Bloch, and Chris Deeves; grandsons, Jonathan Bloch, Kyle Deeves and Matthew Deeves; brother, George Henderson and wife Joyce, and numerous nieces and nephews.
