Elaine Anita Miller August 26, 1947 – May 23, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Elaine Anita Miller, who passed away on May 23, 2025, in Katy, Texas. Born on August 26, 1947, in Houston, Texas, Elaine was a proud Texan, a devoted gardener, and a passionate animal lover.

Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Miller, and her parents, Leroy Fritsche and Bernice Magehee Fritsche.

She is survived by her brother, Douglas Fritsche, and her three stepchildren: Kim (Kevin) of Atlanta, GA; James T. (Mary) of Rhome, TX; and Colleen (Mike) of Anderson, TX.  Known affectionately as "Granny," Elaine adored her 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren: James K., Krystal, Kyle, Kameron, Beaux, Leah, Eli, Emily, Kaylee, Lane, Rome, Miller, Florence, Paisley, Madi, Gibson, and Scarlett—each one her pride and joy.
