Edwin "Ed" Levoi Bohannon, born September 27, 1952, passed away peacefully at his home on October 25, 2024, at the age of 72.
Ed graduated from Tomball High School, class of 1972. As a teenager he loved to hunt, fish, and his favorite, flying. He was a family man and never met a stranger. His wife, children and grandchildren were his true passion. It wasn't unusual for him to be rolling on the floor wrestling with the "littles." He was the taxi driver for all, picking the kids up from school, taking them for ice cream, Whataburger, or Chik-fil-a. He was the best Father and Grandfather one could ask for. His devotion to Cindy was unparalleled; "I love you," hugs, flowers, and smiles were never scarce. Any conversation with him was full of jokes, teasing, and laughs. Even in the end, his playfulness was evident to his caregivers at times. His faith in the Lord was strong but simple. He was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Ramona Bohannon; his father, James Bohannon Sr.; his brother, Michael Wayne Bohannon; daughter-in-law, Shainel Bohannon; and unborn grandchild, Emma Bohannon.
Edwin survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Cynthia Dahl Bohannon; sister, Mary Bohannon Niquette; brother, James Bohannon Jr.; sons, Prince (Joey) Bohannon and Jason Bohannon; daughter, Krysten Bohannon Webber; 8 grandchildren, Madison, Evan, Lilli Rose, Isla, Myles, Ryker, Charleigh, and Maverick; and great grandchild Kade; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones.
The family would like to extend thanks to family, friends, caregivers, doctors, and nurses who have taken care of him and supported our family during this time.
