Edward was a long-time parishioner of St. Philip's Clifton, New Jersey, and most recently a parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church. He was an usher at both parishes and enjoyed greeting the people as they entered the church.

Edward was also a member of the Knights of Columbus as well as a 4th degree member .

Edward resided in Clifton, New Jersey for 42 years before moving to Cypress, Texas 10 years ago.
