Edward Lamar Creeger Born in Fostoria, Ohio on March 19, 1939 to parents Loren and Ester Creeger. He passed peacefully at his home on March 9, 2021. He is survived by his wife Marge of 60 years. Son's Todd and his wife Morgan, Scott, Ryan and his wife Jennifer. Grandchildren Kailey, Lynsey, Luke, Jaxon, Nate, Jacob, McKenna and Landon. He loved and was immensely proud of each of his grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters Jeanette Stoltz and Deanna Creeger both residing in Ohio. Ed graduated college from Tiffin University in Ohio. He had a 41-year career with Marathon Oil Company. He served two years in the Army, during the Berlin Crisis from 1962 -1964. Findlay, Ohio was a great place to raise a family, except for the cold winters. When Marathon transferred him to Houston, Texas in 1983, he was packed and ready to go. Leaving Ohio in a snowstorm and arriving in Houston with workers on the airport tarmac in shorts and T-shirts, he knew he had found his home. A memorial service will be held at John Wesley United Methodist Church Monday, March 15 at 11:00am with burial at Houston National Cemetery on Tuesday, March 16 at 10:30am. Ed will remain forever in our hearts. "I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord" Psalm 122:1. Fear not tomorrow, for God is already there.
