Dyshawn Drequan Wanya Wood, 24, of Houston, passed away 11 February 2023 unexpectedly from heart complications.  A child of GOD is now in the loving arms of the Creator.

Dyshawn was a wonderful young man.  He was obedient to GOD and his mother.  He was a positive influence, in his home, for his brothers.  He was a loving grandson and nephew.  He was an outstanding member in the community. And Dyshawn was a kind man.

Dyshawn loved life with all its adventures, twists and turns, ups and downs, and tuff times.  His spirit was kind, gentle, and forgiving.  Dyshawn will be greatly missed.

Dyshawn was born 26 October 1998 in Gainesville Florida to April Wood and Denis Hall. He graduated from Cypress Ridge High School in 2018. He was currently enrolled in Universal Technical Institute studying to become a NASCAR mechanic.

Dyshawn is survived by his parents April Wood and Denis Hall; his brothers Stanley Strobles, and Billy Norton III; his grandmother Linda Newsome; his uncles James Larry and David Sirmans; his aunts Lena Larry and Bobbilee Sirmans; and his cousins Alexis Larry, Brandon Larry, Christopher Larry, Destiny Sirmans, Nancy Sirmans, and Alisha Sirmans.  He is also survived by his fiancée Elizabeth Triveno.
